About VibeReady

15 years shipping software. Two years figuring out how to ship it with AI without it falling over in production. This is the framework and starter that got me there.

Why VibeReady exists

I’ve been building software for over 15 years. When AI coding tools landed two years ago, I was a skeptic. The demos looked great; the code didn’t survive contact with production. Pattern drift, duplicated logic, security gaps, a fresh memory wipe every prompt. Cleaning up AI output took longer than writing it from scratch.

So I stopped trying to fix the model and started fixing what surrounds it. Two years later, I run a SaaS in production that was built almost entirely with AI-assisted code. Not vibed. Engineered. Real users, real revenue, real uptime. The thing that made the difference wasn’t a better prompt. It was the harness around it: context the AI actually reads, workflows that encode how features should be built, and quality gates that catch drift before it lands.

VibeReady is that harness, extracted and packaged as a Next.js SaaS starter you can clone and ship. The same starter ships with the agentic features any modern AI-native SaaS now needs: a working AI assistant with tool-calling, RAG, memory controls, multi-provider LLM support, and role-based access. Structured vibe coding is the methodology. VibeReady is the implementation. The changelog is public.

What we believe

AI-assisted development can ship to production. Just not the way most people do it. Vibing your way through a feature is fine for a weekend prototype; it doesn’t survive feature one hundred. The model alone won’t close that gap. The harness around the model (context, constraints, feedback loops) is what makes AI write code you can ship and maintain. Every part of VibeReady is built around that idea. Read the launch story for the full origin.
